    I ordered the wet n wild Mega Glitter Shimmer Liquid Lipstick in New Soulmate with the expectation of a glitter packed lipstick. Application is easy with the pointed applicator (I appreciate the hole in the middle so that the brush isn't flooded.) It went on opaque and took a minute to dry. Once it did, I pressed my lips together to activate the glitter AND ....nothing? Wait, there's a sparkle....maybe if I press my lips together again?

    After some lip smacking and a little rubbing, I got a few more sparkles to show but the disco-ball like shimmer that I expected was not there. The color is lovely, a nice wearable red. And the formula is nice - matte but not overly dehydrating and I was comfortable wearing it for hours (it lasted for hours!) I like this as a matte lipstick, but it's not the over-the-top, flashy, glitzy, night-out lipstick that I expected.

    Oh! Haha, this liquid lipstick is super dry feeling. I feel like it kind of felt like sandpaper. I dooo like the look of this but it takes a looot of prep. I need to make sure my lips are welllll moisturized. Like at least an hour of good lip balm after exfoliating any dry skin off. After that, I wipe off the lip balm or jelly, and thennn apply this.

    If I do not follow these steps, this lipstick seeps into the lines and does not look flattering. Once I do these steps, it looks really nice but…still the sandpaper texture is weird. Also when I smack my lips together to get the glitter effect to show, it has this weird flakiness that flies off. Weirdddd.

    The pros of the lipstick is that it does not smudge and does nooot transfer and looks nice if I prep my lips correctly. It also lasts a pretty long time.

    This is a nice matte red lip gloss, that gives my lips a nice colorful matte look, without drying them out. But I definitely wouldn't really call this a glitter gloss. I have to put my face right next to a mirror to truly see the glitter particles. They definitely aren't visible to other people. Other than that, I like it. I was just confused by the glitter barely being visible. This would be better as a plain matte red gloss.

    As others stated, the texture on this is, in lack of better terms, dry. It applies cakey and just does not spread well. I do like the color, but I wish it showed a little more glitter as the name of the product implies. Overall disappointed.
